Dorchester Recovery Initiative (DRI)
The Dorchester Recovery Initiative (DRI) promotes personal recovery for all, no matter what path one takes to recovery. We are comprised of folks in recovery, active/former treatment clients, family members, prevention & treatment professionals, faith-based groups, 12-Step group supporters, and concerned citizens.
Chesapeake Voyagers, Inc.
Dedicated to promoting wellness & recovery by empowering individuals with mental health needs to reach their full potential.
"We strive to reduce isolation by providing a safe, comfortable, and uplifting environment where individuals can meet others in their community, receive one-to-one peer support, obtain helpful information and skills needed to continue on their individual path to wellness and recovery.”
As a volunteer you will be part of a welcoming environment helping those in the recovery community. Volunteers represent DRI-DOCK in a positive and professional manner. Flexible hours and a variety of jobs are available to suit your personal skill set. Some jobs may require training that will be provided. Volunteering for DRI-DOCK is a rewarding experience; providing the opportunity to lend your help and skills to the organization, and the recovery community as a whole.
